I’m providing this to Chris Walker as a testimonial to the outstanding service he has provided to me in three home mortgage loans.
By 2006, I had previously purchased two homes through my financial institution. I was content with my previous home mortgage loans and had no intention of changing institutions for the new home I was about to purchase.
My realtor at the time suggested talking to Chris to see if he could offer a competitive mortgage loan; I agreed. I met with Chris and was impressed with his professionalism and demeanor. He was able to offer a very competitive rate which I accepted. Based on this positive experience, several years later my wife and I contacted Chris again to re-refinance the same home at a lower rate.
Most recently I was evaluating the home market (last fall) and met several times with Chris to discuss loan options. It wasn’t until January when I finally committed. Though several months had passed without a decision being made Chris was still accessible and willing to discuss loans and new home options. In short, his suggestions eventually led me to the house I’m in today.
This latest home purchase proved to be the most difficult. During this process I encountered many new financial industry requirements and a government filing error. At one point I wasn’t sure I’d be able to meet all the requirements by the seller’s deadlines. There was a stalemate between the federal government providing documentation (in a timely manner) and the lender approving the loan. In providing outstanding service as liaison between me, my realtor and the financial institution providing the loan, Chris was able to suggest a solution acceptable to all parties.
